Our history
I.E.V., now in its third generation, was born in the Sixties to meet the needs of the Italian European market. In those years it had identified the use of quartz as the ideal technological solution for telecommunications and the watchmaking sector.
To the quartz production, have been added treatments on special materials during the years (absorbers, ferrites, resonators), and the production of sensors (Monitor and QCM), that are used for the thickness control in the vacuum systems for industry of lens and laboratory analysis.
The production is realized thanks to highly specialized machinery and instrumentation for diamond and wire cutting, parallel plane lapping machines, precision piezo-goniometer, and high vacuum machines with Joule effect sources or E-beam gun.

Our experience in the field of quartz processing, gained in more than 50 years of activities, places us as the ideal suppliers to understand customer’s needs and provide specialized support in both the standard components and customized components productions.
IEV is equipped with a quality control system since 2004 and has obtained ISO 9001-2015 certification with SQS Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems.
